hey now. its just way to early in the fall to be talking about snow. and it was a shock to see when I checked the weather when I got up this morning.

It snowed at our joint on Saturday as well..

I'm 99.9% sure that I'm swapping to Winter rims/tires this weekend already.

BTW -- give my love to Booty... ;)

I don't call it camping. I have only camped like this because that is how my wifes parents do it.

Got 16" of snow last night...... Highest in the area was closer to madison and was 18"...... I have been doing snow removal for about 1/2 the day :nonono:.

That makes Joe an Oxy-Moron!
Quit inhaling he powder you're supposed to be spraying on the parts buddy!

P.S. I love the snow, hate the commutes to and from work....

Didn't get anywhere near that here, but we did happen to get a real sloppy mess that was a pain to snowblow/shovel altogether especially when it decided to freeze up.

The storm did happen to cause a power outage at the HD, which was a lot of fun let me tell ya:nonono:

we seriously got dumped on in Madison.. I was shoveling almost all day at the house.. I'd say easily over 20 inches and it was uber heavy.. I opened up my garage door yesterday morning and the snow was taller than the STi wing on my car w/the drifting.

I hate snow now. It was too high and too heavy even for our 2 snowblowers (single stage and 2 stage) they both did basically nothing to the snow - it was faster to shovel by hand :(

Well hopefully you guys got all the snow/slop cleaned up before this freeze set in.

We did get ours done and I stepped outside today to see the thermostat at -19*F . That is f'n cold.

We got somewhere around 9-12" here in jefferson county. My blower struggled with the heavy ish. I think the motor is toast, thank god I was almost done when it started acting up really bad.The accord on the other hand was kicking ass with the new firestone snow tires I got for it monday. I'm looking forward to this weekend, hopefully lots of sun to go along with the upper 20's to melt some of this white .

We got about 2-3" of slush, which then froze. Fortunately I got most of it shoveled and threw salt down on the walkways before the temperature dropped below 20.

The forecast calls for highs around 30 for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with highs of around 25 after that and all with decent amounts of sun. I was an idiot and didn't get my gutters cleared before the storm and I've got some ice damming going on. As soon as my roof clears I need to borrow my neighbor's ladder and get up there :(

They kept saying the sky is falling but it just looks like winter to me. WI got much more than we did. We usually get dumped on from the lake effect but nothing really substantial so far. At AAA I was taking mostly winch out calls from WI the past 2 days. Had a girl in Pewaukee freak out because she couldn't see to drive. I'm like WTH do you want me to do?

Big Rapids, MI got like 12 inches two nights ago and then I heard another eight last night...most of the roads are ice too which is always fun...so to celebrate all the snow we went two track sledding (sledding behind a jeep with a tow strap) and i guess I didn't zip up my coat pockets and lost my keys and my cell phone...

yah but I was hand shoveling all damned day -- I'm so sore today! :(

BTW -- when do you and Arielle want to come on down and check out the new place? We even have a traditional guest room w/a queen bed set up at the house. :)

got one of the first snow days in UW-Madison history! students got pretty crazy and were practically rioting...cops arrested a few but didnt get away without being hit by a few snowballs themselves

They had a snow day like twenty years back at Ferris and the Big Rapids ran out of liquor, and there was so much destruction and craziness that they didn't have one for another twenty years until my Freshman year, and we only had one because it was so bad they had to shut the school down for three days. People were just wheeling beer kegs down the street. It was awesome.
