so my cars been down for a few months since my job gave me a company car and i couldnt figure out the problem. car wouldnt start and it wasnt a starter issue....come to find out, now that its finally in the shop, the outer ring on the flywheel broke off and wasnt engaging with the starter gear. anyways i thought i would see if anybody had heard of this before with the fidanza???

I've never heard of it but every once in a while I'll get the Fidanza and starter teeth grinding on startup (like when you try to start the car with it already running).

Did you have this symptom before it went?
