I just wanted to thank everyone who's helped me with my issues. I appreciate it more than you know.

I've got a couple of questions. I need to purchase a waterpump, waterpump belt, and tensioner pulley. What are the parts numbers for those items?

I've put in an inquiry for those parts at Team Ford Las Vegas. This is where Bill works right? Should I be purchasing the parts somewhere else, or is that the best place to go to?

Thanks again guys.

When replacing your waterpump, use only a WHITE Impellar one (not black like the stock one) or a metal impellar one.

Metal will hae to be purchased from napa, etc.
White is from the dealer or napa, autozone, etc.

Metal CAN'T shatter, but CAN leak around the shaft.
White CAN shatter (though I've only seen three.. ever..) but doesn't tend to leak.

I would recommend white, personally.

$70-ish at parts stores.

Biill J. is another option, and so is Steve at Tousley ford (contact in duratec maintenance forum, under the pinned FAQ)

Thanks ray. I had planned on using the metal waterpump. The one that is on there currently is actually metal. I would explain in detail the problems I've been experiencing, but I 've already taken up another thread for that.

My big concern is getting the parts numbers for the waterpump belt and tensioner pulley.

Remember those are Motorcraft Part Numbers.
If you call any place other than the dealer ask for those part numbers.

There are 3 WP listed for a '98 SVT so I'm not sure which stock WP number to post. (call the dealer)
nor do I know if they are metal or plastic impellers.

NAPA has WP belt for $9.00 and WP's ranging in price from $52.00-$72.00.

Advance auto parts has WP's ranging from $50.00-105.00
I believe the most expensive one has metal impellers.

The tensioner pulley you need is that for the Serpintine belt?

Ya the waterpump thing is a little confusing. I think I need to get one of those manuals on cd so I can see of visual of the part I need...

The tensioner pulley is the pulley that you have to push back to release the waterpump belt.

Here is the part number from my tensioner (dealership):
F8RZ-6B209 AA

My Motorcraft belt does not list the same number that you posted. Mine says JK6-722-AA.

EDIT:
I just checked the Motorcraft site posted above:
The one you listed: JK3-274 [Belt] Water Pump Belt

The one I listed: JK6-722-AA [Belt] W/AC All

I'm sorry.. I've been up since 4:00 and went to bet after 12am, but WHY does he want the serp belt when he is replacing the wp?

I am assuming serp, because of the "w/ac" statement.
Also, the tensioner is the waterpump tensioner, not the serp belt tensioner, for clarification.
