Well, I had the exhaust resonator removed today. Thought it'd sound better, but you really have to listen to hear the difference. Oh well, it's the first custom mod and I can feel good about getting started at last!!!! cool

i was gratefully given SVT exhaust from a fellow CEG'er and he had removed the resonator, i don't mind the sound at all, was expecting a drone but it is tolerable, when the stereo is quiet enough to hear it wink

From the dyno results that I saw, removing the resonator didn't make a noticeable difference in power. My friend here in AZ took his out but put it back in after he felt the car began to sound like a Honda.

Dropping/replacing the stock 2" resonator will always make more power.
