Does anyone know where I can purchase 4 new factory SVT struts for a 1999 Contour SVT. My local dealer says they no longer stock the factory SVT struts. Any suggestions?

call steve at Tousley ford, his number is in the FAQ on the main site. Be sure to mention the SVT and CEG discount, he gives really good prices.

Bill Jenkins at Teamfordlv.com will hunt some down for you. Otherwise, a nice upgrade would be cool to. Be sure to ask for the CEG discount.

The money you will spend on SVT struts its better spent on a BAT kit.

WTF ??
SVT struts from Bill are $260 a set plus shipping. A bat kit is $595 plus shipping. HUGE difference. Even if you want just the BAT struts they're $100 each.
BAT is a great kit. I have it on my Mystique, but there are some very good low dollar options to consider. I also got the impression he was on a budget...

for those of us on a budget the svt struts are a good option. with my maintenance budget i can either get the bat kit and axles or i can get the svt struts, axles, and a few other things i want done all at the same time. these are the part numbers bill gave me in feb 06 for the svt struts:
front-3U2Z-18124-JA List $84.95ea CEG $63.25ea rear-F8RZ-18125-HA List $84.95ea CEG $63.25ea

Seaching for these part #'s at Fordparts.com the front (3U2Z-18124-JA) description is 'KIT SHK ABS & BSHG F'. What bushing is this? Is it just the Jounce bumper or is it the top mount as well? If not does anyone know what the part # for the top mount is?
Thanks
Adrian
