Both times I've had to leave my car behind at home (Windsor) have been bad luck. It was broken into last night, smashed front passenger window. Must have been kids, they left behind the amp/cd changer which was bolted to a rack in the trunk but took the CD player, CDs, toolbox that had a first aid kit, my stock shifter, and uninstalled aluminum brake pedal cover.

The tint did a good job of holding the window together so there doesn't appear to be much glass to clean up. I will be disabling the trunk release from now on. If you want to see pics:

Thanks for your sympathies. In the time I've had the car I've lived in Waterloo, Ottawa and Toronto and never had a problem, but at home it's been keyed once and now this. Our parking lot at home extends into the alley and there's alot of vandalism there, but the side streets aren't any better: we use to have a van that would get broken into over $1.50 in loose change parked out front.

I really wish our dog had been outside that night, this probably would've been avoided.

reaper, if I had a bat in the trunk they probably would've stolen that too.
