Well, I finally got to test the new tires in the snow this week. We got 10 inches or so of sloppy wet snow here in MN, the road were slushy and slick. After riding around last year on the stock Firerocks, I wasn't sure I even wanted to drive the 'tour this winter. That's how awful the winter performance of the Firehawks was, they were downright scary!!! A couple months ago I replaced them with Cooper Lifeliners, maybe sacrificing a little dry road performance, but I'm here to tell you these things go in the snow. The Coopers did so well, in fact, it would be hard for me to imagine Blizzaks being a whole lot better!! Yep, I'm sold on Cooper.

I never heard of them, are they "true snow tires" or just all season M+S tires confused Also what size did you end up going with? Good thing you got them when you did, I live in SE MI and I'm sure our day is coming as well and I have the Michelin "Pilot" Alpins and I say "bring it :p "
