Try switching the O2 sensors from location to location, post cat or pre cat on each bank and see if the codes reappear and follow the O2 sensor changes. If they do new O2 sensor (or other one on bank) may not be working correctly or not connected properly etc.
Which one(s) did you have changed. There are 4.

The pre- and post-cat O2 sensors in this case are different parts with different plugs. Not to mention accessing the upstream sensors (bank 1 in particular) is hardly a trivial exercise.

What was the exact trouble code (P####)? Some primary causes of running lean would be an air intake leak downstream of the MAF sensor, inadequate fuel pressure, or faulty MAF or O2 sensor.

Which of the four O2 sensors did you have changed? Why did the previous owner replace ALL FOUR sensors? Your post brings up many questions...

Its all in the interpretation. the intent was botom to bottom, top to top, no mixing of the top and bottoms.
