I'll sell you some performance oil, $30/quart and it'll give you extra 25swhp (spare wheel horse power) each quart. I suggest you put 6.5 quart in, but if you can't afford 6.5 quart you can put less. On my other cars I use Valvoline Durablend (semi-synthetic), and in our 89 Cougar it has 301k miles on the stock engine/tranny... The use of oil is based more on opinions, I would go semi-synthetic if it has alot of miles, and has been ran on regular petroleum oil... This guys question could have been answered easily by 1 or 2 replies, but some people are just a$$holes, and don't want to help, but just make you feel stupid. They should feel stupid for not knowing the answer to this simple question ... 1998 Contour SVT Dual-Honed UIM, 170k miles & 2000 Cougar MTX with: 99 SVT Engine, CA-KKM Intake, T.E.H. and polished UIM, High-Flow Cat, Quaife, Pro Flow 75mm, Superchip, TruBendz dual Borla, WR-SS Headers, Fidanza, Grizzly Street, Roush & KYB...
