Was driving back from a buddy's cottage on Hwy 7. I stopped in Kaladar for some relief,a nd when I was getting back on the road, another friend passed me. I drove out to catch up, and was pegged by a policeman doing 120 in an 80 zone. When I saw the lights go on, I knew that I was screwed, so I didn't even think of playing dumb, I just pulled over. He said that he had me doing 120, which I was, and I admitted that yes, I was speeding. He said he had tagged a car ahead of me (had to be my friend), and because he hadn't had time to check against his speedo, he couldn't charge me, so he let me off. I thanked him, and told him to drive safely. Man, that was CLOSE!

You are quite lucky. You might want to look into a radar detector (yes I know they are illegal here).

meh i got booked doing 111 in a 60 on saturday on my way home from darknights.....cop messed up my ticket....i was so happy....aprently in 46 years old..:)

Something like that happened to me a couple of weeks ago.....driving out to Lake Erie on Hwy.56.....I was doing about 115 in an 80. As soon as I saw the OPP cruiser coming towards me I knew I was caught. When he pulled a U-ie in my rear view mirror I pulled over---he didn't even have to put his lights on. In your case and in mine, I think if they don't have to chase you down they'll give you a break. In my case, I didn't have my ownership in the car. So I didn't get nailed for speeding, just for not having the paperwork. MUCH LESS painful.  GT Ross

tsk tsk Wes don't you know your not supposed to speed on the weekend of Darknights   but at least you didn't do what an idiot did last year and did a 160 in the 60 zone. Your 46 huh damn I thought you were 23
