Last night we were hanging out at our local car club, There are many differnet cars there and we street race time to time. But anyway i was hangout out with two other guys that have CSVT's and this silver Contour svt? pulls in the lot. We go over to him and we started talking to this guy. He said he just bought the car used from a dealer. The car looked strange for an svt. The interior trim was different, and the steering wheel was different. He had Mondeo Badge's on the car. He claimed the car was a rare Canadian editon of the Countour SVT. I was like yeah right in my head. He also claimed it had 235HP stock. I was like ok. I never heard of this Canada Edition before. I dont think this guy knew jack about the car. but maybe I am wrong? Has anyone ever heard of this special car? The three of us where like whatever. Thanks.

I have one of the 'official' Canadian SVTs. The plate under the hood on the crossmember next to the radiator is stamped "CANADA".
It's the same as yours, except speedo in km/h and odo in km. Also have DRLs. Other than that - identical.

I have the Cambodian Edition, I had it imported. Some cambodian rich kid had it imported from Kansas and sold it shortly after since he was more interested in the Canadian Edition. I don't know why the Cambodian version and Canadian one are not known by the rest of you guys.
I'll post pics later. Mine too has 235hp but mine is rear wheel drive. Part of Ford's Special Order Team.
