Like you "need" any more reasons to run a full 01+ 3L engine anyway.

WOW! Makes my measly 320+ wHP for a measly 3-4K dollars (not counting a basic 3L), seem awfully attractive now doesn't it?

Sure does, but would you want to roll the dice on all that money/effort/time/blood/sweat/tears when you crank the boost up and shoot for 450whp? I know that I don't and that's why I decided to go with 9:1 pistons & forged rods.

It's not "all that money" though.
If he shelled his engine it could be replaced for under $700 including gaskets & rod bearings. Some folks are finding them for much cheaper then that too...
Sure beats spending 30k for a FWD dyno queen.
Hell he just spent that on a-whole-nother car.

Hmm, this dyno queen has put up the challenge for you to come up here and settle it on the track as I'm hosting a meet in August. Who's afraid of the itty bitty vortech

good point Rick. You would spend some decent cash towing your car down there to race Greg, vice Greg driving his car to race you Originally posted by Buckshot77: Hmm, this dyno queen has put up the challenge for you to come up here and settle it on the track as I'm hosting a meet in August. Nobody on here really has a dyno queen. Some maybe have a slight larger power band than others, but everyone can drive there tours in stop and go traffic.

Thats not what Greg is refering to when he says 'dyno queen'. What he is referring to that, even stock our cars have a hard time hooking up, double the out put that some guys are running, and you REALLY aren't gonna hook up. Supras are a great example of 'dyno queens'. Awesome numbers, but when it comes to the 1320, for the HP they put out, some of them just can't pull the numbers the HP equates too. Yes, there are other things than straight line, but the majority of the people think of drag racing.. Originally posted by dubkatz: Nobody on here really has a dyno queen.
