I've been having loads of trouble trying to eliminate a series of pesky MIL codes on my own. Thanks to your assistance, it is gone!
Turns out that I had a bad set of upstream O2 sensors and one bad downstream sensor (fixed by making my own MIL eliminator). I probably fouled up the upstreams when I cleaned out the UIM and LIM. I never saw so much gunk in an intake in my life.
I also replaced the TSS as per the bang-shift threads and it shifts smooth as hell now and keeps accelerating through high RPMS. Before the part change the car would rev up really easy to the redline, but it wouldn't gain at that much speed.
Thanks for your contributions.

fordparts.com has been my supplier to date because their prices are great. I used oxygensensors.com for the new upstream sensors and they called me after sending me the wrong parts and the right parts to me.
Both emailed when parts were shipped.
I avoid dealers and mechanics like the plague. I have yet to find one I can trust in the NY/NJ area.
The only problem I have with this car right now is that I think the rear main seal is leaking and that is beyond my ability to fix. It's a very slow leak so I just keep an eye on the oil level.
When I need parts *FAST* I go to a local parts shop called P&A Auto Parts in Paramus, NJ. They can usually get a part within a couple of hours at a reasonable price.
