I dont know about the 95, but my neighbor as a 96 Contour Sport with 4 cyl, auto and the engine and tranmsission as well as the water pump, power lock switch (which still doesnt work), window regulator and all adds up to $7000 in repairs and her car as only 150,000km, Lemon for sure.

I have a 98 SVT with V6/5-speed manual and so far, I really like it!

Not sure if there was a TSB/Extended Warranty issued for later model years. You may want to check out the recall information at Edmunds.com for your year in the used car section.
