I would stay away from the Warriors. My sister had them on her Acura and they were a poor handling tire, awful in the rain, and did not instill confidence at all.

As far as a comfortable ride... that all depends on your suspension and tire pressure, not necessarily the tire itself (although treadwall stiffness has some impact). Dunlop SP5000's will give you a decent ride with good handling, but I found mine usually vibrated at highway speeds. I'm running Michelin XGT H4's right now, and they're great at speed, but tend to grab the road a bit too much on heavily rutted pavement (and are overpriced).

The problem is that when you go into a tire shop and don't know what you want, they will ineveitably try to screw you. (when I had my Michelins mounted last time, the manager said: "why do you have these tires on this thing? It's only a Contour."--if my car wasn't up on the lift with all 4 wheels off, I would have driven right out of there).
