Guys/gals,

Looking for some good recommendations on the type of tint to get on my Silver Frost 99 SVT. Currently scheduled for the 30th of July at Cindy's (best place in DE according to many...). I'm relatively new to tinting in general, are their certain types/manufacturers that are better than others? I know one piece is best in general. I like that metallic reflective type tint especially, mirrored looking. I'm thinking a nice mirrored silver tint would complement the silver exterior of my car, give it a more uniform look. Anyone already done this that can post some pics? I don't particularly like the blacked out look...

Thanks in advance for any advice! smile

Regards,

Craig J. Baldwin

IMO mirror tint really only looks good on black cars, and then I still question it. You can't go wrong with black, as I did. If the place you are taking it to is a decent shop, they will use a good film,, but Llumar and 3M are the names that stick out in my head.

I have the Lumar "Ray-Ban" tint on my silver car. Black with a greenish hue. I think it looks awesome on the car.

I thought about going with the mirro tint also, until I saw a silver GTP with it. Too much silver, IMHO.

That looks great Eric.. What % tint is that? I'm assuming it's just the picture, but your windshield isn't tinted, is it?

I am also looking to tint my white Tour. I have been calling around for prices and have been quoted from $150 to $200 for the 5 windows. Does that seem reasonable?
