You should read the book "Sport Compact Nitrous Injection". Its filled with sll sorts of good info. The key to n20 is being educated.
I am doing my best to get educated, so please dont think I am diving into this with no knowledge. My search efforts have led me to this zex kit, and I will be looking at that book today. I am actually at barnes and noble right now. Thanks for the help.

I'm right behind you... I'm going for the 3L oval port swap and i am trying to take it all in nice and slow.... I'm going to get the beefed up motor and trans first then i want to learn exactly how i can spray. Nitrous tune will definitely be the way to go on the Xcal 2, glad i have one

You might lose a little bit of power due to the pulling of a few degrees of timing. The power added by the bottle will more than likely make you happier. They shouldn't put your tune back to stock just to pull out a few degrees of ignition timing.

The Zex kit is a great kit. I prefer the NOS mustang kit with a 100 hp nozzle. Be sure to change the plugs to copper plugs. Reprogram the xcal for two programs, one for MPG and one for NO2. You will want to either be saving gas or boosting with the funny gas. My $.02.

Ray, being around as long as have you have, you might remember he used to run a decent sized shot of N2O on his contour.... Originally posted by Ray: Originally posted by HoosierContour: Sold 1998 Contour LX 13.868 sec 1/4 mile time.

And a pretty well stripped down car when at the track. I recall him telling me through a PM that he would take the trunklid off and some other parts while at the track. That along with a ~125 shot I believe.
