The Vortec for the Contour doesn't exactly make "instant boost." It takes quite a while to make full boost, so there's actually less stress on the diff and clutch than Nitrous. Nitrous is generally an instant shock to your drivetrain. So basically, you're going 200HP to 300HP, INSTANTLY! I would put an LSD and clutch in EITHER car, not just the S/C car. Besides, clutches are generally measured by torque load, and nitrous FAR outdoes the Vortec in torque. Next, you'll want to tune for ANY forced induction that you add to a car. I don't care if it's 3lbs. of boost out of a S/C or a 30 shot of N20, you NEED A TUNE!

Amen! I think nitrous is the cheapest and most fun just because of how much trouble you can get into in such a short time.
After that, Turbo because a turbo can just get insane too if you want to keep going and there is NOTHING coooler than the whooshing sound as the intake charge builds up and the power just keeps coming on until you think you'll blow the engine! Properly sized of course.

SC, a close third place to the other two. Basically, I wouldn't buy one for this engine unless I had some other intrictate setup.
Like I could really really see using nitrous with a 50 shot on the Vortec setup so that the engine would have massive torque when you wanted it and as the boost builds up you just phase out the nitrous. Would be an awesome yet different combo I think.
