Nice looking rims Fern. What are you doing with the old ones? I think I'm gonna look for a set for the winter.

I just removed mine today before reading this post. Took me less than 2 hours without anything special other than the screwdriver on my pocket knife. The screwdriver was much smoother than my finger nail; I used it to lift the end of the ding guard off then just pull the whole sucker off. No need to use hairdryer. I then use the screwdriver to remove the adhersive and pulled it off with my finger. It takes me about 15 minutes on each side to get rid of those sticky stuff. Then I just used rubber compound and clay bar to smooth it out and then wax the area. My driver's side turns out good (except for the scratch right below where the ding guard was which was there before this), but the passenger's side... I totally forgot about that it was repainted after I hit a deer 2 years ago. It looks pretty weird right now...

Lou I was thinking of selling the rims but have now reconsidered and wish to keep them for any possible future return to stock. it took a hell of a lot of work to try and clean the inside of the wheels after i took them off. There was a ton of brake dust caked on there eek

I just installed a discountdash.com stainless look dash kit this past weekend. Hope to get pics up soon for that. It is looking sweeter everyday.
Too bad the Baer brakes will have to wait until next year frown

Cheers!

Fern
