DITTO!!!! laugh I'm in full agreement with Capt. Bart. As a former Ford tech during the musclecar era, everytime someone brought in a problem, more often than not I had to undo some modification to bring it back to a stock configuration before it would run correctly. Factory hot rods are a "total package", where is there is a fine balance between performance and emissions. You change one or two parts and you change that balance. I realize most of these mods are quality and so forth but I don't think I'd be going out on a limb too far to say that probably 75% of most owner's gripes are caused by a distruption of the factory settings. By the way, my car has one mod - it's lowered. So, if my wheel bearings go south, well, I had it coming. laugh

No problems so far at 42,000 miles. It's turning out to be the best Ford I have ever owned, well at least reliability wise.I'm comparing the SVT to a 1986 Escort GT,a 1988 XR4Ti,and a 1992 Taurus SHO.
