Lance and other moderators, I think our emails have been hacked through this site. I got a pm last week from someone saying they received a junk email from me that I never sent. I didn't know what to think until today when I got emails from Trapps and several other members of this site that were junk as well.
I didn't open them since the tag lines weren't anything that I knew any of these members would write me about. So CEGers please be cautios if you see email with attachments from site members for the time being.

Had the same thing happen to me. I was like how in the hell did someone get my email. That explains it.

Members put other members' addresses in their address book. If someone gets a worm that sends email to all the folks in their address book, then I guess it could seem like there is something wrong with the site.
Three or four months ago, I got a few emails from Trapps that looked funny. Some had even changed the FROM address on the email so that they looked like they came from JV, but the headers said otherwise.

You might have the Klez virus or some other email virus worm. Make sure you have a virus scanner on your computer updated with the latest definitions.
Someone here at work got it somehow and was sending out stupid looking emails, as well as receiving mail from people we know that didn't send it.

I use yahoo so how is a virus going to send through my addy book when it's on the net? Besides C. Pasut isn't even in my book. The last time I sent him an email was probably a year ago.

He uses Hotmail.  Seems to be just CEGers though. Havne't received anything from anyone else.

I've recieved several emails with similar problems through my msn mail. People have recieved emails from my account too and nothing comes up on my own virus scan, so msn servers are having the problem too without the end user being effected by it. No hacking though, LOL! :p
