So if i was to reverse the set up and put the 14" Long - 3.5"x7" Oval Muffler in the resonator spot and the 14" Long - 4" dia Round Muffler in the back would the set up still be as effective. See i want to start with the 3.5"x7" Oval Muffler in the resonator spot and cut off the stock muffler and if its to loud place the 14" Long - 4" dia Round Muffler in the back. Will this work?
I think you should put the round muffler in the resonator spot then decide how much quieter you want the exhaust (it will be loud).

If you like the sound, leave it.

Slightly quieter- round body in the rear muffler location

Significantly quieter- oval body in the rear muffler spot.

Redhawks exhaust is one of the best sounding ones I've ever heard on ANY 4 cylinder setup. I just can't wait to do the same exact thing to my V6. Freaking awesome.

Thanks Justin...

I think that is especially cool coming from a V8- true dual guy laugh

Well, V8's always have the possibility of sounding really good, even if the engine and vehicle is a POS. Making the high revving small displacement engines sound good (not ricey/fart can) is pretty close to an art form. I want to hear the Magnaflow on my car or on someones SVT with the engine at 6500 RPM. Now that has to be a sweet sound...
