I am looking at this pic as I write this. My quess is a 2 inch rubber coupler to a 2 inch 90 degree elbow, connected to a 3 inch pvc coupler. With about three inches of 3 inch pipe out of that.
then that is connected to the flex tube.
But my question is does this really help our cars. Because if so Dam that is cheap.
less then $10 if you talk to the people at store.

It's gotta be better than the stock airbox thats for sure. I finally got around to removing that stupid black plastic piece from the fender. Ran a vacuum cleaner hose from the filter to the fog light hole. Not real profesional, but it sounds better.

If you have a Menards where you all live, go there, you can find every thing you need. Here is what I did---> -2" x 2" Rubber coupler (fastend to the TB and the elbow) -2" x 2" 90 degree elbow -2" x 2" pipe connecting elbow to 2" x 3" extension -2" x 3" Extension connected to the hose(starts at 2" and slants up to 3") Total: $18.70 (had to buy a 10' x 3" pipe, and a 5'x 2" pipe; mad left-overs) DO NOT FORGET THE PVC CEMENT!!

If you go to Homedepot or Lowes or any other place like that. They know plumbers. You try to get in touch with one of them. Since you only need a few inches of 2"x2" pipe and most have tons of it laying around their shop. If not the back of their truck. And if you really want to push it. You can ask the to clean and connect the 2x2 to the 2x3. And you don't have to pay for cleaner and cement.
Hey I know a plumber and I'm cheap........

i wish i had spent time to find a plumber (people at my lowes and home depot barely know what pvc is, much less plumbers). I spent a little too much on mine. It helps a lot. If I could have done mine better (like zeteched, i couldn't find exact same stuff though) mine top-end could have been better. Low-end is noticeably better.

Well for the last week i've been playing around with my own intake, I've had a k&n for a while just hooked on at the end, then last week i cut out the part of the beox that comes forward, and then this weekend i started to work on the intake itself. Our tb is 2 5/8 so i looked forever for 2,5 felxible tube and had no luck, so went with 2. This personally doesnt make much sense to me to shrink our inkae size just to have it open up later on. So here is imy current plan, I have a 2" to 3" rubber convertor, the 2 inch goes over the tb so it goes straight to 3 inch right off the tb so i dont have to go down to 2 inch, then i'm going to a local exhaust shop and haveing them mandreal bend the pipe for my, they said 10 buucks for 3 inch, so hopefully by this weekend or next i can get pics up of my intake, so basically i'm planning on going 3 inch all the way to the maf sensor then dremeling out my fender walla dn shoving the kand n up in there and routing some dryer tubing up to it then drillign out the holes to put int eh sensors. After that possibly wrap it in exhaust tape to keep the heat out. So... theres my plan, what do all you guys think??? Critisims or suggestions kindly welcomed.

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.
