Door panels, speakers, center console, all non-essential dash pieces, glove box, remove hood liner, remove trunk liner, trunk upholstery, carpet, headliner, lexan or plexi windows, carbon fiber hood, windsheild washer fluid container (carbon fiber hoods usually don't have nozzles anyway), all trim pieces-A, B, C pillar covers, light weight battery-DynaBatt, inner door liner-just leave outer skin, door lock mechanisms, window motors, diet as needed, run on no more than 1/4 tank of gas.

This help? Basically, you want to sit in your seat(singular) (Corbeau carbon fiber or the like) and see bare metal everywhere and only one layer of it, too. It won't be very safe if you happen to get in an accident, but you'll shed a whole bunch of weight.

Yep, that's the plan. Of course, you won't be street legal anymore. IIRC, every 100 pounds you take off equals 1/10 sec off your 1/4 mile time. That's just a rough estimate, but if you sit down and do all the math, it's pretty accurate. 100lbs=.1sec

Take out all the stuff and put in a roll cage.

Oh sure, put in a roll cage if you don't trust yourself as a driver! No, seriously, put in a roll cage if you remove everything down to the outer skin of the car, because it will collapse on you if the wind blows too hard, let alone you getting in a wreck. Build the cage out of aluminium tubing and surround yourself and the engine with it. If you're really good, you can incorporate strut braces with your cage, but most importantly, you should protect yourself first and the engine/transmission second.

But the roll cage would add weight back into the car.
