im a little confused now about which one i should get (flanged or non). I have a SHO-Shop CAI that I want to put on it, and I believe it already has a MAF adapter on the heatshield with it. Which one should I get?

Thinking about this.. what kind of gains do people usually get? What is the advantage over stock?
My car is basically stock 99 SVT with KKM intake.
Sway me to get one..

If anyone has an aftermarket filter install, it came with a MAF adaptor, so the flanged one is the one to get.
I have just a K&N, no metal adaptor for the stock MAF. No square looking plate. So I want to connect the rubber on the K&N to the pipe on the PRO-M, without the square MAF adaptor with 4 bolts in it.
This is why I have ordered the non-flanged MAF and confused everyone in the process.

Yes...but I'm still looking to find out wha tthe ID is on the non flanged unit. I'd like to go with the non flanged unit since it is shorter and that will give me more options for filters (BIG).
