I'm also interested but not sure about the weight of fiberglass. I've lifted some fiberglass hoods and wished I had a spotter.

Oh yeah I meant to add this to my last post. If they do end up producing CF version of this hood please let me know. I'll rob a nursing home if I have to to get the cash for it. The norcal hoods seem to have died at the moment and the Kaotic cf hoods just don't really do much for me. I love the F50 and would kill for a cf one.

the purpose of the f-50 style vents is not to put air into the intake, in fact they create a vacum.... they work like a wing, the air flowing over the vents is moving faster than the air on the other side, so it sucks air out of the engine bay... with proper placement f50 style gaps produce a wicked suction effect that's awesome for your radiator.. running tubing to your intake would be stupid as you'd just create a vacum and your engine would have trouble getting air at high speeds...

thats what I thought as well, but wasn't sure, if you guys would rather have a CF hood that is fine with me but it will be at least $100 more. Johnny

i'd rather not have cf personally... the cost rationalization doesn't work
