At the moment, that seems to be the challenge, as nothing he's come up with so far can match the factory gear for strength or durability. He's working on it, but if anything what we're seeing is that the factory gear isn't bad because of its material strength. (Maybe bad for another reason). The biggest potential advantage here is that we might be able to save some money by replacing gears only rather than the whole motor. I'm not expecting a miracle.
