Did they make them in 2.0? I thought they were only in 2.2? Green 96 mystique gs 4cyl mtx 16.9 in the 1/4 mile @102500 miles 95SE in Midnight Red MTX MSDS headers and y-pipe SVT exhaust SVT UIM Optimized se TB. Full pre 98 SVT body kit 15.741 @ 87.73mph :)

In 2003 GM dropped the QUAD 2.4L 4 engine from the Z24 / GT line up and replaced the 2.2L 4 engine in all other Cavaliers and Sunfires. They began filling all the Cavalier / Sunfire engine bays with the new 2.0 Ecotec engine. It's got 140 ponnies, is pretty gutsy, gets better gas mileage over the old and is pretty bulletproof along with the tranny. And yes the valve cover gasket doesn't seep at 20k! Long overdue update on those cars too...now where's that Cobalt? Besides, the cops that hang around on 7 make it a nerve wracking experience. If we could get another cpl ppl together it'd make for a fun night i think. There is another option for wed. Every Wed, there is a show at Mapleview Mall in Burlington. Not to enter the show, but it'd be a neet place to gather and talk cars. So i'm in for either. I hope that some of the others in the W. GTA would like to come. We have a great waterfront area for showing and hanging around. So hey guys lets hear back and put something together. I can't do anything this weekend...already have plans but I am at Mapleview every Wed. for the show there(not in the show)but checkin things out.Or another night @ Hutch's would be good(or Timmy's anywhere).Hopefully we can do something!!

I don't know what the heck I was thinking but it is a 2.2 Ecotec. Did an oil change on the car on Sunday and I knew about the literage before I opened the hood. I meant to say 2.2....blah...I HAD A LONG WEEK! Who's coming to my house warming party? P.S. This week looks like rain, ruling out the mapleview cruise night, and the weekend looks to be the only break we're gonna get form this ark builders dream of a week. If there's anyone else that would like to join on this or someother night chime in.
