I am ready to go - just waiting to hear back on how the prototype works. I am also going to look into seeing if I can get the price down if I order 30 of them - since there are now like 24 people on the shifter group buy.

I will update later today if I get a better price.

Man I really don't have the money to spend on this crap, but the price of the shifter is soooo, good.
 
Can you send me some pictures of the shift tower with the boot off, and maybe some dimensions of how high the tower is off the floor?

That way I could compare that with a 98. If I understand correctly the riser plate needs to be about 0.02 inches thicker for the 2000's - if that is correct I would just make them all that thick - 10mm instead of 3/8th.

If I order 30 plates I could get them to you guys for $18.31 each including the bolts - plus shipping.

So, if the 23 or so people from the shifter buy need plates I would be willing to order the 30.

Whenever I decide to buy something for my car(s), and I think a lot more people are going to want the same thing I tend to get a group purchase/buy going on it. I'd say at least 30+ GB's on various things. Its the only way to do things. You have a lot more leverage with companies with pricing when you say I've got 10+ people that want to buy the same thing in the same configuration then you do with just trying to go in on your own and trying to swing a deal.

Now that I think about it... lets get a group buy on the Ford GT... anyone?? :crazy:

no no no...i was talking about making the riser plates, not buying the shifters
