Datalogging the 3L

So I am trying to datalog for joey so I can get my tune in check. I have the X3, I downloaded the drivers and the livelink 6 program from sctflash.com. I turned the car on and plugged the xcal in, then plugged it into the computer with the livelink 6 program already up. When I plug it in it should start doing its own thing right? Because mine doesn't do anything. I tried all this on two different computers.

After connecting you normally need to configure livelink. You need to select your parameters to data log. Then when you hit the record button it will activate the link and begin data loving.

Ahhhh I see now, I can't seem to find open/closed loop though. Also do I choose analog 1 if I am not using a wideband guage? I think I will call joey when I get a chance during the day sometime. Thanks.
