Intermediate shaft (IS) bearing 99 Contour SVT

Pulled out IS shaft. Doing clutch and inspected IS bearing. Spins easy but a slight grinding. 170000

Where to find the bearing and how to remove. Tx

I don't know of a replacement offered for that bearing; you must replace the entire intermediate shaft.

That being said, I noticed a minor grind in my own intermediate shaft about 100,000 miles ago. I didn't bother, as Ford wanted almost $400 for a new intermediate shaft at the time. No problems since, and still sounds/feels the same now as it did then.

Don't worry about it.
