Hey guys,

I have a full set of Yakima Q clips #40 for a contour. this if for the yakima roof rack system. typically they run $35 a pair (and you need two pair for the car!)

these ones are used but in great condition. I dont have the contour anymore, and i have the clips for my golf, so i thought i would offer these up.

so if you are looking to get a rack system for your car, you could save some money and get these instead of buying brand new :) also comes with the white plastic "feet" as well, since they are made for the contour of the roof.

Anyone want a set of snow tires? I have some used ones on 15" steelies that should have one more season in them. One tire should be replaced, it doesn't hold air and has a pretty good sized bulge in it.

got a 96 contour i am parting out. zetec auto. its got power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise, and keyless entry. car still drives but has a blown headgasket and waterpump gasket. the car actually drives really nice, i am going to feel bad parting it out... the car has 145k on it blue exterior grey interior. most parts are good but here are a few that are not

front bumper - scratches and dents
core support- pushed in a bit also bent the ac condenser but i dont think that is leaking
hood- dents
pas side rear door and quarter panel- dents
mirrors- glass is good housings damaged
markerlights- broken


otherwise most everything is in pretty good shape, i will have pics up in a while.

parts spoken for
cams, lifters, intake, throttle body, ash tray, rims(maybe), rear bumper(maybe), trunk floor liner, and a couple other random parts.

let me know if there is anything you need all the glass is good tranny seams strong brakes work good, dash board is in really good shape etc. prices will be cheap just make an offer

171k Miles on Car (Taurus Motor installed @ 148k Miles)

2004 Ford Taurus Motor had 77k when installed, currently has approx 90k

Replacement/Extra stuff for the car

I have a large collection of Interior items (Weather stripping, complete dash, extra Gauge cluster (139Kmiles) and other MISC Body/interior items that will go with the car. I would bring a truck, it will not all fit inside the car.









This car is showing its age, and has a few things that any buyer should be aware of.



Body:

1 Side Skirt has some damage from the previous owner

Drivers side ¼ Panel has a dent in it. (Vehicle was rear ended, bumper and support were replaced)

Suspension:

Needs Strut Mounts, and a Drivers side Tie Rod end.

E-Brake cables are loose, and worn. Need replacement.


Engine:

Needs a Replacement EGR Valve (causing IDLE to hang between and after Shifts)

Interior
2 Pieces of Interior Plastic have broken clips.

Power Antennae no longer works (Cable broke, motor still works fine).

WTB: Rims w/tires. Or just tires for SE rims.

around $200 w/ rims, or something reasonable for just tires. Need tires that are decent, just something that will get me through winter after which I am getting a different vehicle.

I know what you may think about the price, but i need some money to help my mom and dad a little bit, the rest is to buy another car. I think it makes sense because I live in my parents' house, if they lose the house i have no where to live, its based on the theory of charity and self preservation.


Bought the car from Grant, it runs great. 131k on the odo.

awesome SVT floormats and all! The body has a dent in the passengers side front fender currently from a 2mph accident in the driveway by the previous owner and it has a deant in the drivers side fender as well.

Here are the details...

Drivetrain/Performance-

* Ovalport 3L swapped SVT

* Built HMS transmission with a Quaife Limited Slip Differential. The trans is in perfect shape with no issues at all.

* Practically brand new full 2 1/2 Trubendz Catback Exhaust with Vibrant Mufflers and Resonator along with freshly installed 4 inch Stainless Steel Rolled edge tips. The exhaust sounds amazing!

* It has a high flow Y pipe that I have never seen before. It looks like a sho shop Y pipe but I am not too familiar with the different y pipe options. It is not just a MSDS or weapon R y pipe.

* B&M Short Shifter

* Poly filled front and rear roll resistors

* B&M Aftermarket oil cooler for superior oil cooling... this one is air to oil instead of the stock water to oil cooler.

* Newer Battery Relocated to the trunk in a battery box and all.

* Custom Intake/Filter Setup

* Chipped PCM with the tune for the 3 Liter!!!

* Spec Stage 3 clutch !!!



- Suspension

* Koni struts with BAT springs... this setup rides very very nice and also sits amazing. No rear sag or anything. Just a nice clean drop!

* Newer 4 Bolt Boxed in Lower Control arms!

- Asthetics/Guages, etc...

* Lo tek A pillar guage pod with the common Autometer Phantom Series guages

* Digital Wideband Air/Fuel guage for exact Air/Fuel ratio

* Silverfrost painted rear reflector with the SVT badge relocated from the lower stock trunklid location up to where the Ford oval used to reside.


- Wheels/Tires


* E1's



Few things added, Chrome Rings in instrument cluster, auto open/close sunroof, Brand new alternator, Brand new rear rotors and pads, Brand new front Wheel bearings. Also had the car dyno tuned with the 3L.

Car comes with The stock reflector and the painted one I got with the car.

WTB: 3L oil pump

WTB: 3L oil pump

hey guys i am still trying to find my low oil pressure problem on my sable and am seeing if any of you have an oil pump that would work. i dont want to throw a ton of new parts at the car and still be no where closer to finding the problem. i want to start with the oil pump so that i can also check out what my chain tensioners look like. so if anyone has a known good oil pump they would let go real cheap (struggling college kid with no car to drive...) that would be helpful. if the oil pump doesnt help at all then it is time to do rod bearings and rod cap bolts... thanks guys!

i would also like to add that my blue contour is no longer available for parts the car is going to be fixed in a couple weeks.
