Looking to monitor My afr

Not sure ive ever heard of the first.

Innovate makes a good product. I personally just ordered the AEM UEGO

i had an aem and i know a few guys with innovate. i'd go with the innovate myself, the aem changed their design and the plugs on the back of it got so hot it started to melt on me. the older ones are wired right into the back of it and have no issues. i dunno why they changed, they might even be on a third revision by now.

I would go with the Innovative one for sure. Easy to find help on setting up the right equation in Live Link .

However, I have a AEM wideband which has a Bosch sensor(only downfall) ... and I use dataloging via a Xcal 3 , a laptop with LiveLink 6.1(free from SCT) . You just need to make or buy a Fire Wire IEEE 1394 cable (male on both ends or make sure they look alike) . Also the analog/wideband formula is already in the LiveLink 6.1 software. For the Innovative formula you would need to find out..I have it at home if you need it .. If you want to go the free route with a AEM wideband , you can datalog via the serial port. RS-232 by using the Hyper Terminal (free in Windows Xp)

Check this http://www.vmptuning.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78
Info on how to make a Fire Wire cable to log the AFR values.

You can get the Innovative wideband here but shop around first..http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index.php?p=catalog&parent=5&pg=1

Also I got the Fire Wire cable from e-bay for like $2 so don't spend a bunch of money on it if you go this route.

Fire Wire IEEE 1394 (6 pin) to work with Xcal 3
Serial RS232 to work with AEM Uego via Hyper Terminal
