I'm new to the whole contour thing here and i'm looking for a little something to perk up the ride. i own a 2k svt with 53k black. its an awesome car especially in the turns. but i havent owned a car without hid's and or doing a little something to make it my own. i like the eyelids and i was wondering on maybe getting a how to...
 
It's nothing but a strip of vinyl layed down and cut to the shape of the headlight.

I have fiberglass eyelids from an old CEG group buy, but you won't find any of those anytime soon.
 
They look especially good if you pop off the lenses and paint the inside of the plastic. A little involved but it looks better. :)

There's already a how-to for baking apart the headlights.

Not sure if you can still get vinyls, does parkedcar do any?

Yes Parkedcar still does the vinyl eyelids. Just pm him with what you want. Just ordered a set no more than 2 weeks ago from him.
 
ok who did the last fiberglass eyelid GB? like who made them and could we contact them again?



i just searched the old forums and came up with nothing about the real GB

NewPowerRadio held the GB. His friend made them for us. I don't know if he will do them again though.

Yes, Parkedcar can still do they vinyl eyelids for you. His silver frost vinyl is "spot on", the black is also. :)
 
thank you i pmed parkedcar and i'm waiting for a response. i cant wait to get working on the contour...
 
i would love a pair but if i cant get fiberglass i'm not gonna worry about it ... i'll just do the vinyls.. fiberglass would be HOTT!!!
 
I've been thinking about taking a piece of plexiglass and make a set out of that.Heat it up to where is soft and form it over the section of headlight.Sand then paint,you guys think it would work.Would make some out of fiberglass but I suck at it and I am good with Plexi
