Which one is the best?

my 96 v6 has "Sport" very clearly stamped on the back of the car.

therefore i'd assume it to be an "se sport"

What makes you think its an "SE?" All '95 thorugh '97 SE's will have the "SE" chrome lettering on them.

I think you just have V6 Sport.

The GL Sport does exist in pre98s. (I think 97 only, but could be 96 as well.) Usually had a Zetec with tachometer, but the V6 was an option.

My gas door works most of the time at 103K. It gives me trouble in the cold. I like the pre-98's the best, probably because I own one. Everyone is going to like theirs the best. At my mileage the interior is in perfect condition. No ripples in my seats

One of these days, when it is really cold, I will do a mod. Maybe like stick a small foam piece on the inside of the plastic "spring" to give it more spring to push out when it is cold and the plastic does not spring out easily.

Right. But the question is, was there ever such a thing as a '96 SE Sport? I don't think so, as the a first generation SE had everything that a Sport had and more. The Sport package would have added nothing to a first generation SE.

in reading your FS that reminds me about a spoiler.... I'd like to add one that has the light in it does anyone know what year(s) that was and maybe point me in a direction to find one. My car is Champagne in color it would be tough to find one just the right color.....

You have a PM. I just happen to have a 98+ spoiler in factory painted Champagne NEW IN THE FORD BOX & never installed.
