Found Dave (Dycomet) sleeping on the job in the middle of our 3L build. The swap is very tiring but sleeping on the job is unacceptable!! Haha but those who have went through the swap can understand our pain.

you cant bust a mans balls for catching some zz's during a 3L build, that shts tough work. in fact I give that man props for not leaving, dude is like in love or something he wont even sleep further than 6 feet away from that naked redhead

Lol, ok to clarify...I had a pounding headache that day and we just finished assembling the 3L and I decided to take a 5 minute break before actually dropping the motor in.

Lol, unfortunately none, a beer or two...or ten then I would've been good to go. We were at a do-it-yourself shop that I belong to. Since I live down on campus I don't have anywhere to do this but it sure was nice to have all that work space.

DIY garage - great idea but I bet the owners insurnace is a bit high. Do they have a lift?

I thought about something like that as a business idea.

Todras - would one of these work in our area??

They have one lift and several works bays. They also have a full car paint booth, several sand blasting cabinets, a huge powdercoating area, and more tools to rent than you could ever need to do anything you ever wanted to a car. Their rates are a little expensive in my opinion but what do I know. You can check out their website at www.painterslane.com to get an idea of what they're like.

ummm pretty much everything you can think of. Make sure you have all the parts in hand before starting, esp if its you dd. All gaskets, oil pick-up just to mention a few.
