Central Michigan Meet?

There aren't many members in west michigan, so why not get a central michigan meet planned? I'm thinking somewhere half way between muskegon and detroit like lansing area, so we can get as many members as possible.

I personally know nothing about lansing, so someone else would have to come up with a location/date for this. I would just like to see it happen before I head up to michigan tech next fall.

its actually not a bad idea, I remember a while back we did a meet in east lansing with HUGE turn out.

Maybe thats something we can do over the summer.

The next big meets (nehehe I said big meet), are going to be early february and in spring, so there really isnt much room to shimmy another meet in there.

people usualy just chat on here through PM's and whatnot. Maybe we can work out something between Spring zing and the Dave and busters meet, something preferablly not stupidly cold.

Well I'm defiantly thinking summertime. Theres no point to showing off cars when its 40 out and raining. Not to mention my car is a piece due to lack of funds.

that meet was four years ago when there was still a bunch of us in the E.L. we all moved away and half don't even post anymore.

unless we can get a large group of the westsiders to come, there's really no point.

I'd really like to get something set up for summer, well after SZ is done. I'm new to this board, and the car clubs in general so don't look at me to plan this out..I just want to set up a day when we can tool around and bs.

I'm in Kalamazoo... I know there are at least three or four CSVT's up here, and from talking to some, they want to try to get involved (funny me saying that, as I have disappeared from the boards as of late except the classifieds)... School is taking over my life.

Even though there is no happy medium between Kzoo and Detroit/Novi etc where I am used to, I would like to try and get to a meet somewhere... I haven't been since Tony Pacos

Isn't lansing closer to kzoo than novi..

Anyway the whole point is to get as much people together, although without the weekend long event that is SZ.

although it isn't really central, there is the annual superbowl meet coming up next sunday. there is a thread in the EGL branch.
