If I may, i'd like to point you towards http://www.raamaudio.com ....lucky for you, their rolls come in 62.5 sq ft... it will be much nicer than dynamat on your budget
Yeah, 120 buys an intake and a new headlight.

I was thinking of doing my whole floor under the carpet... just to cut down on road noise and to make the stereo sound clearer. Couldn't really do that all in Dynamat though.
no, because the price of dynamat is retarded, like super mega retarded.
That quote made my day. Thank you. rofl
but it's entirely true, they want like $90 for like 30 sq ft.
Actually, I think the dynamat trunk kit is 20sq foot and retails for $129.99... mega retarded...
yea, i like going with the stuff that's fairly priced, and i'm sticking to that. screw dynamat.
I plan on using some type of sound dampening material on my trunklid.
I found that the worst rattle from INSIDE the car came from the third brake like. I tried stuffing foam under it... didn't help. After further investigation, I found that it was the red strip inside the third brake like that was making all the noise. My solution was making a third brake light of all red LED's, soldering them in, and removing the red strip. I took it one step further and painted the chrome third brake light black and then tinted 35% over it. It made the third brake light stealth, but can still be seen very clearly when lit up. Probably even better than before. And it now lights up 9 red dots instead of one big strip. Worked out perfectly!
Do you have pictures of the light? I think most of my rattle is coming from my sunroof/dome light housing as well as my radar detector...
I have really crappy pics. I can get better pics in a couple weeks
Here it is in chrome:

My radar detector was also rattling so I mounted it about my mirror (stealthy) and hardwired it there. I then placed the female side of velcro underneath it where it rested on the mirror itself. Worked nicely.
That's pretty boss. You never wrote me back about buying the extra you made though?
so what brand is the best bang for the buck thats not too expensive?
I tried the roofing stuff. I even let it sit out on a hot day layed across my driveway to get it REALLY sticky.
Well, after a month or so, it all started coming of and falling. So I ripped it all out and threw it away.
