True, its doable for sure. But then you run into what Elraido is stating below.
My car up against ryanblacksvt's or any of the other decked out cars on this site would be "lol" for sure. Not even ready to be there. Being new to the site it definately seems like SZ itself is for the big dogs, and elitist members of the site but not in a bad way.... and the truly pimped out cars. I am simply not worthy....
On topic, I don't.... really....... like the Saleen Contour. It just seems like it doesn't work. The body is way too busy and doesn't flow in any way in my opinion. The interior (from the pics) looks kind of entry level. Too much Carbon Fiber. Sure, OMG ITS A SALEEN... but in my honest opinion its just doesn't look like the level of quality of say a Saleen Mustang. Which just ruins it for me. Ill stick with my ride.

Ok, well I was going to go out on a limb since this will be my first SZ (with a pretty close to bone stock car), but then I saw bagged's post and that pretty much confirmed what I was thinking. In my time with CEG it seems that SZ has evolved from an event about getting together once a year that's all about cars, to something more like that annual family reunion where you go for the people, not the objects. You see, we here at CEG are more than car nuts, we are a great big, semi-dysfunctional family.:laugh:
I do understand the money thing, that's why I haven't attended in years past.
Oh and on topic, Saleen looks damn nice, and I know it will be brought back to beautiful.

yeah, we had rouar last year with a maxima, a couple mustangs, alex with the ford ranger, a PGT, etc. its not about the cars at all. its just something we all have in common, a passion for cars. Spring Zing is all about putting a face to the names, and making new friends.

I personaly wouldnt care if you brought your contour with 4 spares on it, yes its about the cars, but its also about the people. This will be my 1st year attending and I was hoping for a big turnout.
I didn't have my car last year, livinsvt didn't have his the 2 years before.... Its all good!

i went in 06 for the first time and i went with a mildly modified zetec. in fact i was the only zetec there, but that didnt keep me from having a good time and meeting the people that i "talk" with everyday. this year im going with the same zetec, only this time its got a turbo and an red SVT body kit on a green car.
Its always been a problem with SZ. No one wants to work on the cars in the dead of winter but we rarely have enough time from when it warms up to get anything done. I was hoping to have a couple of big things done, but I'd rather hold off on em then go w/out the car again.
This year I claim the lame zetec award!
I have been to all the SZ's since 02. Was only at 02 for a few hours with the car, and it spent most of its time on the trailer last year :blackeye: . No comment on this year:troutslap:
Definitly still had fun all those times. Helps to bring a beer wagon!

Okay, is it me or does the lower part of the seats resemble the svt seat with MNB leather and suede center?. The upper half is definitely recaro seats thats for sure.
By the way, the car looks great!!!
