Does anyone know where to get an adjustable throttle cable? My mechanic suggested I look into one on my 3L swapped csvt

I have never heard of such a thing. I would guess that the cable end could be removed and a new one put on, or something similar.

There was a member who made one out of a bike brake cable that has clamps to make your own length, but, what is the issue where you need one?

My throtle cable is loose from the bracket. there is a little slack right at the engine end of it. He thinks that its because the 2.5 bracket was used instead of the 3.0 bracket. He said I should get the right bracket or get an adjustable cable (he showed me one on a honda that was threaded to adjust).

If you are running a full 3L you really should be using a custom throttle bracket that is sized correctly to take up the slack. You don't need an adjustable cable. If the bracket is made correctly you won't ever need to adjust it. I'm sure there are others out there than can post pictures of their custom throttle body bracket.
