altenator whine correct me if im wrong on this fix

if you are looking for a set of good rcas although expensive stinger rcas are bad ass! i had some noise in my car and got the stingers. no more noise. also how long are your ground wires? if more than a foot they are too long. for one you are wasting power and 2 your wasting power. also three ground your amps individually with the same gauge wire as your power wire. if your ground is bigger than your power you may get noise. by grounding the amps individually you will avoid that simple problem. hope that helps. learned all that from a buddy who has been installing for about 5 years

Ground wires are recommended to be 3ft or shorter.... That's why they ship them in 3ft segments.... Alternator whine is usually caused by a difference in ground potential between a source unit and an amplifying unit...

You may want to try upgrading or adding a ground from your batteries negative terminal to the body of the car, I've heard that sometimes fixes alternator whine....
