Alternator ?

Has anyone here bought from this company, linked below. They have "Brand New" 130 amp alternators for $89. Price seems too cheap.

Agreed. Job is too much of a pain to put in something I'm not 100% sure of. Chime in, though, if anyone else has used them.

Ford OEM only on this job unless you've done enough of them like me.

If you do it once.. you want to replace it with something that wont die in a year.

Have the engine on the bench apart. At 107,000 I'm wondering if I should just change it anyway. I can see why the job is a PITA with the engine in the car. When the two mounting bolts are out, the alt. is still tight in the bracket.

you mean 3 mounting bolts? (but yes it is still tight in there after all 3 are out)
