i have not seen a single negative statement in this thread. the other one yes. just post updates in this thread. i am really interested to see the mystique/contour hybrid hood!

This will be a work of art when finished. I can tell alot of hard work is going into this build. Good Luck on finishing it and keep us posted on your progress.

I follow every post in this thread, and cant wait to see it up and running. dont leave us hanging!

tips dont look bad at all. only thing is the pc could have been made a lot smaller, but to each their own.

Computer could have been smaller, but not for the money. It cost me $0 thanks to a couple friends and parts I had lying around. Got the mobo, proc and ram all for free from my friends old comp. Made the case out of stuff I had lying around as well. The sound is setup as 4.2 surround sound.

I still have to setup some kind of system though to externally and automatically trigger it into sleep mode when the ignition is turned off semi-similar to how laptops turn off. I assume I can probably set that up in Windows but have never needed to and don't know how so if you do let me know!

thats a tough one. it would be easy with a laptop... but anyway, id suggest you have it hibernate, because hibernation uses the same amount of power as if you turn it off, but it resumes where you left off. Standby uses more power but resumes faster. I say this because standby could drain the battery if you dont drive it for a while.

only thing i could think of is setting up a wire that grounds when you turn the ignition off, AND on, but doesnt stay grounded. if you didn't know, thats how the power switch works; you press, its grounds two pins, turns on. but if it's already on, and you grounded those pins without releasing the ground, it would be like holding your power button down, which shuts down completely after 5 seconds, which you dont want. so youd set up a wire that grounds like that, and in windows set power button function to hibernate. i dont even know how you would do it though.

I just bought a pair of those tips also ,for my birthday. The build looks great BTW
