Another Huntsville meet?

So the majority posting say that the weekend of March 23-24 is not going to work. That's cool!

See, the thing here is that we want to set a date that works for most everyone. Even if it means we have to set it a month or two ahead. That way, we have more people there. A meet with only a few people is the suck!!

So... Think about this people! Who really wants to take the trip and who doesn't. No matter when this meet happens, with or without you, we are going to have fun. If you want to have fun driving around some mountains, hanging out... just whatever, then let's find a date that works for as many people as possible.

As for the money side of things... My wife and I spent more on food and drinks the whole weekend then we ever had on our room. We normally stay at a Econo Lodge and the rates are right around $45-50 a night. The location is really good and the people there are pretty cool. Well, that is unless Hector has another BumbleBee muffler on his car with a straight exhaust, which I don't think he does. Plus, if you have never been to a "REAL CEG MEET", then you should really think about doing this. Anyway....

My point is - let's put our collective "intakes" together and find a date that a decent group of us can get together and have some fun man! Hector, way up in Chi-Town, came up with the idea for this meet! So if he is willing to come all this way to see us, then let's make it a little more the three of us there. Ok? :cool:
 
I'm really interested in meeting up w/ you guys, but w/ the dyno this weekend & FFW coming up, I was going to play it by ear on this meet & maybe drive up for a day then come home. If it is moved Then I'm pretty sure I can attend. Even if it is in May & not around the kids graduations. I was planning on attending SZ but it looks like all of the cash I had saved is going into the wifes new ride! :(
Just LMK when you guys decide to do It & I'll more than likely attend unless there is a serious clash.

I work saturdays. So I'll actually be taking 4/21 off (I will be unfit for work that day). I should be able to get it off, but somebody else is already taking off, so if I'm not allowed, then I'll look into taking a day off for FFW.
 
OK kids the meet for Mar 24 is OFF.

Not enough people able to attend and that is fine. If any of you do still want to come this way the the 24th of march, you are more then welcome to. That will probably be the weekend that we do work on Lori's car. Strother has a SVT upper and lower intake and TB that I can look into installing on the Cougar and if that does not fix the noise I am hearing then... a head will be in our future, possibly ported and polished.

We will be looking into April for a date to do a future meet.

Hey Rich!! Let Kim and I find out somethings. She started couching Taylors softball team so... If possible, we will all come that Saturday, but if worse comes to worse, I will come over that day and come back that night. I would love to help you guys with the swap.

The Mystique is actually starting to leak tranny fluid from the solenoid cover, I feel from not being driven enough, so it needs a good road trip! We've got each others numbers, so let us figure out Kim's softball schedule and I will give you a shout. An oil and tranny fluid change and I am there dude! :cool:

Sounds like a plan! Close to 90k on the Cavi, time for some real mods...LOL....
 
thats right after SZ but not all of the southeast guys are gonna drive all the way up there. i think im gonna skip SZ this year and save my money for an engine build up, but i think i could probably do a weekend in huntsville.

WAKIE WAKIE WAKIEEEEEEE. So freak-n-A Lori's job gave her tha boot about two weeks ago so we are mega stressed and in the red like you would not believe but we are praying that something would happen soon.

Aight....so what time frame are we looking for this meet. The cougar still needs to be worked on....I can't wait for spring (Rich's says in his best sarcastic voice). So much to do....freakin no time...

Sorry haven't been in here....been super busy with the baby, wedding, car, and not to mention WE GOT A HOUSE!:cool: We are moving in Memorial Day weekend.
