I need help with something.
It should be pretty simple for an electrician to figure out.
PM me if you wouldn't mind helping me quick.

TIA!

Thanks guys for the PM's.
With the PM's that I've gotten, I should have an answer to my question soon.

i am curious and i dont want to PM..so what's the question and solution? hehe
i have been doing some electrical in my house the past few days..its so fun.

If you can't follow the rules then I don't want to tell you. LOL! ;)

It wasn't a household electrical issue. It was just about my new heating pad with the auto shut-off. I wanted to by-pass the shut-off so it stayed on.
Not going to happen though. There ya have it. :)

the only thing weird here is you  oh, yeah, the switch contains a circuit board...so unless you know the schematic of the board, it might be time consuming to locate the automatic shutoff circuit...

... and, I don't want to ruin a brand new $40 heating pad. ;)
It works but is a PITA to keep turning it back on every hour.

I know why it's there. :)
I can't sleep without it when my shoulder is bothering me. I keep waking up to turn it back on because of the pain and it's annoying.
This one has a nice thick cover on it so I don't burn the :censored::censored::censored::censored: out of my skin. ;)
My old one, I kept a towel on it.

for future reference I'm an Electrical Engineer and am willing to offer assistance.

Thank you. I haven't done anything with the heating pad yet, got another project that I'm involved with right now.

Maybe you will be heading to banned camp.
