I may be purchasing something in that area. I need someone to pick them up for me if the sale goes through and ship them to me. I will pay you for your time. Or send you free SVT parts.

You boys better get a map

Whittier is only 3 exits north of Long Beach off the 605 fwy.

562 is the area code for the greater Long Beach area (Long Beach, Compton, Paramount, Downey, Lakewood, Norwalk. Cerritos, Santa Fe Springs, Seal Beach, San Pedro, Carson........) Just about everything south of Hawthorne and North of Seal Beach. it use to be 310 back when I patrolled the streets.

Your right about 562 being the greater Long Beach area. I live in Pico Rivera so i know Whittier is on the other side of the 605. Long Beach is a little more then 4 exits. I dont know the exact city limits but i'm sure it doesnt extend much north of carson street at least not next to the 605 because lakewood is right above it and Long Beach does rap around the side of lakewood. Now Whittier doesn't go much south of telegraph blvd. just from telegraph to carson is about 10 miles, little more then 4 exits. i said 15-20 mins cause im on the northen end and to carson street is 15 mins tops and he never said what part of long beach so 15-20 mins is a safe guess since i didnt know what part.

Its all good, I just didn't feel the wording "not close" was accurate to what was being asked. 10 miles is less than what most people commute to work each day. I can see from where I am at that it would not be close, but I did it for over 3 years as a cop, from San Bernardino to Long Beach 81 miles one way.

well, what i meant more of was, i pass through whittier on a weekly basis, on my way to anaheim. long beach on the other hand would be WAY THE OUT OF MY WAY. its funny that they may be "close" but it takes me about 40 minutes to get to whittier and well over and hour to get to lbc. although id have to take entirely different freeways altogether to get there.

so that's what I meant when I said they arent exactly "close to each other". its not like i live in whittier and lbc is just a stones throw away from me. theyre both far. one is just much farther than the other (or at least more of a pita to get to)
