where do you guys normally install the sender then? I'm assuming somewhere on the lower end but where?

Behind the AC compressor is the main oil galley plug, it's the BEST place to take the pressure reading. As i recall, it's difficult to tap into with an electric oil pressure gauge because of space restrictions, but a mechanical gauge can be installed there in 20 minutes....

I believe I bought a mechanical gauge from Summit.... there were 2 pricings for the oil pressure and it was the cheaper of the 2 for the same series and size.

Is it just gauge and some nylon tubing in the box? If so it's mechanical. With an adapter and some copper line it's easy to run the gauge down to the main galley plug, this is my recommendation, but if you're gauge reads too low a pressure you'll peg it when the car isn't warmed up...give me a call and i can talk you through it and give you more details.

If he doesn't go, I'll have to eat his share and nobody wants to see a skinny boy piggin out! :help:
