Are CT drivers really...

The worst are people who get on the highway at 40mph and brake to merge...ughhh it makes me so mad! Although I'm sometimes an a-hole on the highway. If there is someone really riding me, then tries to pass me out, I'll speed up to the next car so they are blocked and have to wait...it's childish, but satisfactory. Only if they were really riding me though! Instant justice!

Today she went to clean the snow off of her car and there it was, someone hit the front bumper. :crazy: Apparently someone coming into her apartment complex cut the wheel to close to her car and nailed it. Of course, it's not something that can be buffed out either.

The last time it was the back bumper on the driver's side and this time the front passenger side. :help: Of course there was the arseclown that hit her back driver's side bumper in the parking lot of the mall too, but he stuck around.

Maybe she needs the salt! :laugh:

Scuff- 0 Steph-1...I win! Spent most of this morning with rubbing compound and a buffer showing that scuff who's boss. It's basically gone now, looked a lot worse yesterday, mainly cause I was so enraged.
But I swear. I try SO hard to keep my car nice, clean and scuff-free and the more I try, the worse off I end up.
Thats it, Im setting up an alarm with a magnetic field that surrounds the car, get within 5 feet of it and....ZAP! Or, OR I can put up a temporary fence around it. This crap is getting old!

Im off to buy salt.....lots and lots of salt....
 
ya i bought my car with a little kiss on the passenger front corner...im hoping my buddy will paint it at the same time he does the rear bumper...its sucks when other people mess up your paint because you cant even be like "wow, thats my fault, i should have been more careful" the only thing you can do is get frustrated....which obviously sucks

at least you are looking to see people on the highway. I don't think people from CT look. my carpool has a running joke about this. we never say people are coming onto the highway with intentions of merging, they come on and displace.
 
o yea, i got canned.. so im not selling nissans to bad drivers anymore.. haha, i have a meeting with someone from the other dealer down the street on monday, i called him before i got fired telling him how i wanted to leave because i wasn't happy.. haha. i was planning on just quitting that night. did me good.

vrey sorry to hear! Though quitting would have looked better on your resume than getting fired. Which happened?

Hey now wait a minute there!! I live here too!!! And... you're right they all do "merge" on the highways and main roads etc... without care or concern.
I've done it on occassion, but usually just to be able to get on the highway sice the other CT drivers wont seem to give you a chance to get on. Hell, I can only "yield" for so long. And, yep!, there are alot of coffee can ricers out here. I've actually seen one with an actual coffee can
 
no, mike.. i didn't sleep with the bosses daughter.. yuk, she's like 3 years old.

because i didn't sell enough cars/ or because i left early without telling anyone.. ooops

I nearly had the front end of my car taken off last night .... the guy to the left of me in a double left turn lanes onto the highway deceide to slide right over to the right lane where I was :shocked: ****ing moron .... then I saw somene blow a red light onto a main road ...


then this morning on the way to work there was a nice looking eclipse that got on 91 behind me, it had rims, stickers on front doors, was lowed and had a FMIC ... well I catch traffic right and get ahead of him, so of course when the highway opens up he takes off and flies past me, not super fast but fast enough, the best part was a beat up camry or something, missing hub caps, had dents and a large APC sticker on the rear window and front doors and a black stick on scoop on the hood was trying to follow/pass the eclipse ... I dunno I found it funny ...
 
yesterday i was cut off by a guy driving and old dodge pick up with a cap on the back. i was driving about 35mph on a main street, this guy just pulls out of a parking lot in front of me and proceedes to go 15-20 (there was no one behind me).
well, i got stuck behind him for 20 minutes, he was going the same way i was. (fugger)
well we come to a right turn in the road where we are supposed to yield to traffic coming in from the left.
there is a white BMW coiming from the left..the guy in the truck never yields and pulls in front of the BMW, the BMW slams on his brakes to avoid hitting him and ends up about an inch off the trucks bumper.
the guy in the truck then slams on his brakes and comes to a complete stop.
the BMW pulls out into the opposite lane to go around him and the truck then accelerates and swerves towards the BMW, luckily the BMW accelerated fast enough and the truck missed him by a C-H.

i would have loved it if the BMW hit the truck, i would have defended the BMW guy all the way.

They don't seem to get road rage though. It's bizarre. :shrug:

Our travel agent played shuttle driver for us, and on our way to the airport on Saturday, he was approaching a hairy intersection that had a red light.
He said to us, "don't be alarmed that I'm running this light. If I stop, the speeding cars behind us will rear end me. Not all intersections are like this, but this one in particular is one where you don't stop" !!!

Oh and when he first picked us up, we were joking about the drivers and he said "the rule on the road in the DR is there is no rule" :laugh:
 
Picture I-93 turning into South Willow street without warning! With scooters and people walking in all directions. I thought I was going to see someone get killed. Organized chaos!!
