Theres nothing to distinguish these cars from anyother contique on the road, but if you see some one look like this, you'll know its Nez:

Shure, lemme tell you the tale of a salty old sea captain.


The swap was really easy, as was the painting of the chrome. If you can get a driver side tail light and the rear valance from any year stique I can do it for ya.

There was chrome on it? Next time we're at a meet, I'd like to park next to you and compare... I'm having a hard time picturing that on my car. I like the "tinted" reverse lights. Is that how they are, or did you do some strange painting on them?

I've been planning on getting another Contour reflector. One of my bolt clips is broken... and I'm wanting to cut out the license plate mount and flip it (so it's pointing down instead of up).
 
Thats how the reverse lights look like on all stiques.

Heres what the reflector looked like before it was moved from the stique and then painted.

The whole package is a little heavier then the contour version. I don't know why, but you can really tell when you hold a tail light.
 
Oh and Bobby I distinctly remember pushing a multi colored Cougar behind your house. If that wasn't delivery, well I don't know what the hell that was then.

:laugh: Ah, touche. Me and Royce have been talking and we're still talking about what the exact plans for that car will be. I'm personally juggling how I would fund building TWO Cougar's at once (the black one is far from 'complete'), something that will be extremely tough if I keep the Wal-Mart wages I'm making now. And although it probably won't be financially possible, I may consider looking at a new car once my black Cougar is paid off. It HAS to be a Mazda3 hatch with the 2.3, but the payments and all that have to make sense. I love my Cougar to death, but at the same time I'm constantly spending money on stuff for it. If I had the Mazda, intake/exhaust would be my only mods. But I'd also have a car payment and such also.....argh I don't know what to do, lol.
 
Tell me about it, I spend around 650 bucks a month on my cars. This platform is freaking EXPENSIVE! I wonder if I would actually save money buying a new (er) car.

Well I got the new front suspension in rides nice and smooth now. But now another obstacle has come up... I took it to Big-O Tires to get a alignment and I guess they say I cant get one due to me needing new control arm bushings :cry:
 
Well, i met a guy with a T-Red CSVT @ the gas station lastnight, he came up to me askin me about my car n such. his was all stock except for some ADR 17x7's. i told'm about the sight and that we meet up so hopefully he'll register. he lives on like 12st and bell i think he said. suprised nobody's seen him around :shrug:
 
Had a guy at Wal Mart asking me stuff, he said he has a 98 Contour 4-banger. I told him about the site, he seemed interested. We'll see if he signs up, even if it is only a 4-banger. ;)

That was probably the one I saw on 35th Ave, just south of 101... about 2 months ago. That same day I saw another red one, but it was fast and furious'd out.
 
yah, his rims are gunmetal/grey color so its pretty obviouse if u see him. his cat are f*cked that or his resinator, cuz he reved it for me to listen and sounded like peices of his cats or whatever rattling around, i told'm about a muffler shop that'd delete his resinator for $35 and strait pipe it. see if that fixes it, if not time for new headers/cats!

anyway on a side note, i went to have my car washed and as usual nobody knew wtf it was... asking me all kindsa retarded questions, then afterwards went to discout for a tire preasure checkup, and same ****, everyone in the bay started shouting out ford car names tryin to guess what it was, (because they saw the ford badge) ... i finally had to interveine and tell'm wtf it was... :crazy: funny yet sometimes annoying. i love that people take interest in my car, dont get me wrong but when sumone shouts out TAURUS... :laugh: noooo thank you!
 
You think you guys have it bad? I've had my car called the following. Eclipse, Talon, Accord, Celica, Escort, Probe, Tiburon, and I've even had a friend have a tire shop ask about the "white SHO" when it was really a Cougar. Some people are just dumb when it comes to cars....
