Battery Light

What does the battery light mean?

My battery light is flickering at any RPM, even if i step on the gas, it still flickers.

Why does the battery light flicker? Does it mean its not seeing 14v? Thank You.

Checked my Mega fuse today, it is good, but Im still not getting 14v. I bet its the alternator, but, I was just curious as to what makes the Bsttery light turn on.

I believe the bottom line is that the battery is not receiving a charge from the alternator. Could be alternator, could be a connection, could be a fuse, could be the belt...

What tells the Battery light to flicker?
1 is is bad brushes.
2 is it because some sensor doesnt see 12.5v
3 umm i dont know.....please tell me why the light blinks or flickers.
